Blast Design and Practices
This course covers the essential of blast design, blast parameters and charging techniques. Tunnel ventilation system, environmental effects safety standards are also discussed during the course.
Course Outcomes
The students should be able to:
Ø Understand the blasting procedures and techniques.
Ø Have a working knowledge about explosive handling, storage, transportation and use.
Ø Execute blasting in the field as per design.
